Excon 2019

The LVMPD proudly hosted its 17th annual law enforcement explorer competition on June 7, 2019.

505 attendees traveled from across the United States to compete. We welcomed posts from Arizona, California, Florida, Kansas, New York, Nevada, and Oregon!

The event was held at Sunrise Mountain High School and LVMPD’s John T. Moran Firearms Facility. Explorers participated in eight scenarios and had the option to participate in two elective events.

Police and military recruiters from nearly 20 agencies nationwide attended; well-known apparel and merchandise vendors were also present.

Notice

COVID-19 (Coronavirus) continues to be a developing worldwide concern with no certain ending. We understand the impact this unprecedented crisis has had on first responders nationwide and particularly the exceptional agencies which attend our competition.

As a direct result of the unique challenges COVID-19 has presented, hosting a June event is unrealistic. As of April 10, 2020 ExCon 2020 has been cancelled. Instead, we are looking forward to making ExCon 2021 better than ever before.

Registered teams, sponsors, and recruiters & vendors will be contacted directly by ExCon staff for refund information.
